Noticed my front diff started leaking last week , went from nothing to a big leak in just one trip to town and back (7miles) so parked it up for the week ready to look at today . Ordered new filler plug ready just in case I bust the old one taking it off . And got some new oil , just to top it up ,until I have the time to fix it properly as ive had the d2 for 7years thought it must be time for a rebuild. But while under it I found all bolts to the diff housing lose at least a 1/4 turn each ?? So thought I would see if anyone else has had this happen . Just seems odd they all came lose in such a short time .

loose or just the fact you could nip them up a bit ,it would be unusual if they came loose ,have you checked to see if theres any play in diff flange if not may just need a new seal and flange if seal contact surface is grooved ,in certainly wouldnt rebuild it unless flange has play and securing nut/bolt is tight and its not noisy on overrun

It all looked ok for play , and there's no noise . I'm guessing you right and they just needed nipping up , just thought it was odd that they all needed doing , so I've just nipped them up topped up the oil and I'll give it a few days and see what drips out , thank for the reply
