I have a defender 90 and also have the innards of a diso 1 front axel. What i am wondering is, could i put the diff from the disco in (24 spline) also put the half shafts including CV joint and stub axels with the thin drive flanges. Would it all work out the right length? At the moment it has 10 spline diff with associated half shafts and thick drive flanges.
Any one done this already?
Or could i just swop the inboard shafts and use the existing CV joints and keep the thick drive flange setup but use the disc diff?
