Anyone else had the small hose blow that bad ? That is exactly as it was on the car basically cut 1/2 way
only tell tail was a small loss of power and a bit smoky on load

The elbow hose often fails like that. I replaced all mine with a set of silicone hoses.

Has above change them out for silicone ones, also good luck with getting those hands clean from the black stuff, it's a nightmare to get off, always wear gloves if you can.

a ah in dog house as well apparently I should have used the hosepipe out side and not the bathroom

I have a set of silicon hoses if anyone is interested. Used and dirty but perfectly serviceable and available for the price of a pint (or two) plus postage.
