hi i have a 2.0 diesel 98 and want to know if i can fit a snorkel raised air intake and if so has any one done it and got picts of lay out under bonnet thanks

Given the number of electricky bits, I'm not sure Freebys like deep water. Do a search around here - there are examples of wading Freelanders, but also anecdotes of the problems people have encountered after wading lots!

I've taken ours through water to the headlamps, with the odd splash over the bonnet, any higher than the headlamps is dodgy because of the ecu and fusebox. We don't have a snorkel but the airbox on the l-series has been moved up and ontop ofvghe engine to give a few extra inches of wading depth. We have extended breathers too and change all the fluids at each service.
