Hi all, just thought I would check in with my freelander project car, So far so good, suspension all checks out and sourced an annoying knock which I thought was the suspension and turned out to be the passenger side, side-step which has a broken bracket and was knocking on the sill. got stuck into the brake pipes this morning and all was going well until the 3/16 pipe flaring die snapped so will have to leave the last one until I have found another one. found a wheel and tyre on ebay for cheap with loads of tread and matching goodyear tyre.
One nice little find while helping me to bleed the brakes my brother asked what the 50th anniversary badge meant by the drivers door lock plate, I hadn't noticed this before and checked online and it is a 50th anniversary special edition and this is also in the log book which I received today, I'm sure it doesn't make any difference but a nice surprise all the same.
Now just need to find something else to occupy my mind until I get another brake pipe flaring tool as I had planned to get it MOT worthy by the end of the weekend and on the road by the end of next week but looks like it may be a bit longer now.
