I have an 03 pre face lift td4 .I have starting problems as it takes about 4 seconds of constant turning over to catch .I have had the injectors done and glow plugs and cam sensor and low pressure pump .what else can I try

1. Post this question in the Freelander section, before the ‘apes’ in here get you ;)
2. Did you change the low pressure pump filter?
3. Next step would be the high pressure regulator O-ring.

The fuel pump filter has been changed .where do I find this high presume o ring .please

It's weird in here... the smell of hairspray is over-powering....
 
^^^ Now you’ve gone and brought one of them in here.

The HP pump has an electrical connector on the front - remove this, and undo the two torx bolts and remove the regulator. It’s a bit of a fiddle, and the bolts can be very tight.

Kits can be found on ebay, I think.
 
4 seconds cranking doesn't sound bad to me, to be honest. Does it start faster if the glow plugs are activated twice?
 
Long cranking is often the result of slow building of the fuel pressure. Do you get a large puff of smoke when starting? If so check glowplugs. If not check over HP fuel pump, seals and regulator (as has already been suggested) - also do a leak back test on the injectors. If one is excessively leaking back then this could contribute...
