Had a look earlier on there site I'm going to have to go see it with my own eyes and see what its like it sounds great!!!

Yeah, thats where the race2recovery team started. :)

Looks good, but expensive to make the Freelander into a rally car to compete. :)

Need to have a tally up and get a rough idea of how much it will cost to build one so it can be road leagal as well.....

Could be, gear at cost in return for name plastered across the car

Would be an ideal test bed for some of the other stuff i'm looking at too, no harsher testing situation than rallying

Sounds like you've got a lot on the go!!! Just looking in to the rules and regs at the min and venues so san go and have a look!

A lot on the go, but not enough money coming in!

Yeah i read through the rules the other night, sounds easy enough to work with, considered looking at entering myself if work picks up

Yeah know the feeling I've been nursing a broken leg I had it pinned and plated 8 weeks ago so not been able to do a fat lot not drove for 8 weeks its driving me nuts !!

Well I built my Td4 around 3 years ago, not so much for the Freelander Challenge but more as an off roader. But it fits the criteria for the Freelander Challenge.Full internal Safety Devices cage and lots of other goodies. Looked into competing in the 'Challenge' but my work pattern means it's impossible. I use it every day but may be looking to sell it in the next few weeks as my Rally Freelander still needs finishing and I've been offered another Defender.
