Freelander TD4 2004 Help please
my freelander boot wont open the central locking work fine but the boot glass wont drop and boot wont open
any one had same sort of problem ?

Can you lower the window from the inside switch if not it could be the window regulator has packed in. If the CCU can't see that the window has dropped it won't release the latch.

No the window switch won't work, the boot seems to half open half closed
When locking the car the horn sounds to say a door is still open
But it won't push closed or open.

Could still be the window reg broken. Disconnect and reconnect the battery if the reg is ok the window will go down, I usually take the back light out and false feed the latch to open the door but unplug your CCU first as they don,t like it up em.

I am having problems with the boot on mine too, it opens fine but when it comes to closing it won't close properly as if there is something obstructing (even though there isn't) but the window still raises as if it has closed properly! Very frustrating, if anyone has any idea what it is and how to fix it I would be very grateful!
