Evening,

Am putting a post up for my next door neighbour as he needs some advice. He went to replace the main beam bulb to his 2005 FL and the metal pin that holds the bulb in place & sits in a plastic lip has snapped, now when he unlatched the pin the plastic clip has snapped now he cant attach the metal pin to anything .

The bulb is sitting in the holder but is loose so any vibration i'm sure the bulb will pop out.
He says it looks as if its a a total headlamp replacement , now surely there is a easier fix .

Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure it's sold separately and you don't need a new headlight unit...
