hi I have just got new coolant bottle and cap. filled bottle up to max mark. when I run the car at temp the fans come on as normal but coolant bottle fills right up car dos not over heat switch car off and the coolant runs back . and bottle is back down to just below mim mark. confused:

It's normal for the coolant level rise when the engine is hot. The correct name for the bottle is an Expansion Tank as such it takes the expanded coolant when it's hot! As long as the cap holds the pressure and the level never rises more than about halfway between the Max mark and the cap you should be ok.

the Expansion Tank fills right up to the cap so there is no air in the Expansion Tank it dos not leak out. when switched off looks like coolant is running back in to engine Expansion Tank fills with air

Maybe you have an air lock. Have you bleed the system?
