Help please!! I have a 4.0 HSE its 2001, It has recently withought warning sometimes not often stalls when its ticking over the rev counter needle will flicker a bit then it dies when I re start its fine. Also there is a flat spot about 1500-2000rpm where it feels like its struggling. if I give it revs it is fine.
Any clues or causes

it's unlikely that you are having turbo problems, as you don't have one. You do however have an idle air control valve. Check this first.
