I live in oldham.I have a defender 90 .I am trying to find someone who will get a 3.5 rover v8 running before i try to install it.the engine only needs a little work (i hope).I dont mind if it is in someones home garage or a business.The engine is a carburettor engine.The dissy cap and leads are missing. Can anyone recommend a good engine rebuilder in the greater manchester area ? cheers richard

I want to get it running and if it is ok then use it.If not ok then rebuild it ...cheers richard

best thing to do to save yourself some money is download the RAVE cd and see if the setup for the dizzy and leads are on there and get it running that way.
