hi, i have a rebel steering guard that i want to fit to my disco. i already have the extra bolt needed but i am unsure which bolts i fix the steering guard to. does anybody have any pictures??

cheers james

Mine's not a rebel steering guard, but this is how it's fitted.

Two bolts to front bumper mounting bolt on each side.

On drivers side rear is held by I think it's called the drag link pivot bolt, but I could be wrong.

On passenger side rear is held by similarly placed bolt that's 'just there' ... ;)

First pic is drivers side.

And yes, the steering guard is bent ... Manby this year ... I reckon it was worth the price ... ;)

rite, got 3 of the 4 bolts in place. got a problem with the steering box bolt that goes through the chassis. got the nut of but the bolt is seized in place. ive put wd40 on it, brake cleaner and tried hitting it out with a hammer. any suggestions?

Yeah, take all the other bolts off, fit the stuck one first, but you'll have to wiggle the others into place ... now you mention it, mine did the same ... ;)

i cant, i need to take the stuck bolt out and turn it around as the guard wraps around the outside of the chasis and the nut end is on the inward side if you get me
