The FBH on my 04 TD4 HSE is working a treat on these cold mornings, fires up and gets warm really quickly.

Thing is, I understand it's supposed to turn off once the car is up to temperature? Mine seems to still be running after a good 45 minute drive (can hear it and feel hot air coming out of the little exhaust). Feels like a bit if a waste of diesel, is this right?

uses very little diesel, but should turn off once up to temp.

I agree with Optimus Prime but please read the thread 'Cold Bonnet' - much discussion there about the fbh.
