hi

All this morning I set of for work as norm, got on the motorway it has a 50 mph limit, got into the 70 mph limit tapped the cruse control to bring it up to 70 mph limit and 2 warning lights come on and the engine went into "tick over" no response from the accelerator.....Any ideas??.

very sorry it is a D3 08 2.7 diesel, I pulled over turned it off then started it up with no further problems.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say it int a Series cuz it dint disassemble itself spontaneously when they hit 70

An older defender is out to as its cruise control is a house brick on the loud pedal

don't know about newer more fandangled tratters

Mr @blue beasty would it be possible to move this to the discovery section and maybe change its title to reflect it's a Disco 3 with a cruise control issue. No cake though cos I've troughed it
