Viscous fan cowling. To use or not to use? At the moment I'm running my 200tdi without cowling. Temp seems fine.Should I put it back on? or not bother??

I think its there more to protect you and to protect the fan from damage.

personally I would fit it, it is a standard piece of equipment. If your motor starts to overheat it wont be the cowl and should be looking elsewhere for the problem.

Thanks for advice -I think I'll fit it this weekend. Is their any clever ways of fitting without removing viscous fan?
