Hi,

Ref YR2000 4.0 Petrol - Thor engine

Could someone tell me if the fan behind the radiator (viscous coupling and fan assy i think its called) should be running from the time your switch the engine on from cold as mine is and seems to run constantly - cant say that it runs faster when engine is hot - seems to run at one speed - fast!

With engine cold and NOT running try and turn fan with your hand. It maybe a little stiff but after a few turns should free off and turn easily. If it does not it is seized.
