Hey all,
Just fitted a new "mudstuff" console in the landy and want some extra gauges in it and in the blank on the instrument console.
Where is the best place to get them as the ones i have seen around seem very expensive, i want to fit a clock, boost pressure and oil pressure.
Any ideas?

You any relation to Bushboy?

My idea is to get your digital camera out, take photos of incredibly impressive gauges, print them on shiny paper, and paste them over the round dial spaces.

This will save a lot of fancy wiring (never a good idea), and won't tell you much less than real gauges anyway. It will also save a lot of money.

that wasnt your usual helpfullness Charles... whats up with yer?

keep an eye on fleabay. smith gauges go cheap on there sometimes and there is a small collection of gauges straight out of HK that are around 20-25quid. you could just fit a normal batt operated digital clock to the mudstuff dash, i think an original clock guage will be your biggest outlay.

I could take a snap of my boost gauge when I'm pedal to the metal up a steep hill towing a trailer full of cows.

You could paste it into your dash, and kid people on you get 15 psi boost / 1 BAR all the time even when the engine is off!

That would be impressive ...

Any second now I'm expecting a blast from Lord Slob for being facetious.
