Hello all, anyone know where to buy exhaust shield for p38 2.5 diesel. Mine is looking a bit tired, well infact it has a big hole in it. Thanks Jeff

The one over the manifold? I repaired mine with thin alloy sheet.

Yes that is correct Datatek, does that work ok.

You can get the complete exhaust manifold set for £11.00 or so plus post. Not to difficult to change. Like this Exhaust Manifold Gasket Set BMW 2.5TD Island 4x4 - Specialists in Land Rover and Range Rover Parts and accessories for all models. UK and worldwide mail order.

Except he was talking about the heat shield not the gasket.

The heat shield is part of the gasket. It is integral with the flange gaskets for cylinders one and two.

Feck that then, the manifold is a nightmare to get off, easier to repair what is there.
