I'm thinking about buying a defender 90 it looks like a 2008 county that's been blinged up.

Apparently its a ex RAf car, I want to get an idea of what it was used for and any damage ect... it is recorded as CAT D and is about to go through the Autolign inspection.

Several people that know said the MOD is very quick to write off a car as the discounts they get from LR are so great that it really only takes a small dent or a few drill holes to write a car off on economic repair grounds. Ideally I want to find out why it was written off.

Does anyone know how I would go about trying to find out, anything about its service life?
