Pipe has been rubbing on another and now leaking.
Pipe from filter to inj pump, just need to slit it and rejoin but need a connector, any ideas.
Anyone got a good one for sale.
Usual suppliers do not list it or have none.
Totalparts have a new one, good company???

If they have a new one get it. No brainer.

Does it need to be a specific part No? When i replaced mine I cut the duff one off, went to a local car shop and ordered a length of suitable inside diameter fuel pipe, cut to size with loads left over for spares or mates .. ;)

After waiting a week for parts from a smaller parts company i phoned and was told they never had any as land rover was out of stock.
I knew this because i went there first, when asked about contacting me, they said they were just about to do it blah blah blah.
Now i ask for feedback first.
Pipe now sorted, araldite filled the hole then clear petrol pipe over the top and stuck with araldite followed by thick rubber petrol pipe as a guard against future rubbing.
Pipe will now last longer than the time it takes for a classic to rust away to nothing.
It will last a lot longer than that so i will try again.
Pipe will now last nearly as long as it takes for a P38 to increase in value.
That is a better comparison

Only just seen this sorry.
The pipe is probably 10mm OD??
You can repair with a 10mm compression fitting or use two fittings and replace the black with clear nylon instead, useful for diagnosing fuel issues. The clear stuff is available at pneumatic places cheap.
