If you have a gas blow lamp, with the engine running introduce a bit of gas into the air inlet and if the figures react they are working. If not they pooped or just dirty.
Outside air temp was 12c but Intake Air Temp was showing 25c when the ignition was just switched on (was this a default or failure) and on idle when fully warm (720 rpm) changed to 30c.
Not yet...I read somewhere that the IAT didn't apply to the later Thor with Bosch MAF.....but Grrrrr has said (post above) that was the diesels. I have read so much I'm getting overloaded with info. If the IAT does apply to the later petrol MAF then looks like my MAF may be on the way out. It is reading larger amounts of air volume....and possibly incorrect temps so I will give it another clean and possibly replace.
