Apparently the petrol engine in the new Porsche 918 is a 4.6 litre V8. That makes 612 horsepower. Reckon it would fit in a P38?

It most likely has two massive turbo chargers so a bit of squeezing maybe needed. Not to mention a new gearbox and transmission. That sort of power would destroy the stock one PDQ.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall at the conversation with the insurance company. "But all I've done is remove one 4.6 litre V8 and fit another 4.6 litre V8, how's that an upgrade?"
