hello

whilst driving the amber management light blinks on for a second or 2 and car lacks power its the amber light with ! in the middle, i have had it put on a snap on code reader and no codes are stored.

once the light goes out it drives fine, it happens at any speed was doing 70 on m42 it dipped then was fine and its done it at rolling 10 mph.

no idea where to start at the moment

its only a Intermittent problem so would it be an hose ???? will check map and lp pump

First thing to check would be the intercooler/turbo hoses, these can rub through on the manifold bracket (drivers side) or split due to oil contamination. This is a very common fault and silicone replacement hoses would be your best option (about £56 for the set off ebay)

Just looked at a set of three for £67 incl postage, would have thought the original hose clips would have been re-usable (mine were)
 
original clips can damage silicon hoses i would recomend W2 T-bolt clamps will take cost to £82 but worth it
