new battery arrived. I’ve just put the new battery on and now I’m getting the message engine disabled press remote and vehicle won’t start also keys no longer operate central locking. I’m getting a feeling I’ve done something silly ..?

It was also saying the key was in the ignition but datatek seen me right on that one

Put the key in the door turn to lock hold and press lock button, repeat in unlock position.

or put key in ignition and press unlock. Depends on years and setup and I never can remember.
Door 1 usually works on the 2001 but seems to work on the 96 as well .
