On the way home, after only 10mins of driving (at under 30mph), and in traffic, my 01 Td4 just cut out! I tried to start her, and even though it turned over, it wouldn't start.
With the help of a cyclist and a motorist heading the other way, we managed to push it across the road and onto the verg where I would be off the road and not causing a traffic jam.
After lifting up the bonnet and having a look around to see if I could see anything obvious (which I couldn't) and thinking about calling out recovery, I tried to start it again. It started on the first turn of the key and I managed to carry on with my journey home.
Any ideas? Any recommendations?
