my 90 currently has a 2.5 n/a but after 280,000 miles it's seen beter days.
what engines can be bolted staight to my standard gear box without changing mountings or looms.

a Tdi is your best bet, but you'll still have a little bit of leccy works to do

I`ve gone through three 19j`s in as many years,give em a miss if I were you,but they do just drop in easy.

they are normally good for well over 140k before they need a good overhaul

you must either do a shed lot of miles, are very unlucky, or your driving it like it's a sports car
