Anyway, turned out to be the MAF sensor. All good now.
wonder if it was the MAP sensor, they get clogged up
maf sensor is by the air filter , assume urs is the eu4 engine
if ur going to buy a reader, get a iid bluetooth diagnostic , fantastic bit of kit

They said airflow sensor so could be MAP I guess!
