Head lights were utter crap so I bought a nice new pair with clear lenses and bright bulbs etc. fitted them then the indicators started playing up.Next I removed about 20 ft of household extension cable the previous owner had integrated into the dash board for everything from speakers to spot lights.. Indicators start working again.
Next time out the headlights are all over the place doing strange things with the switch positions. I found a broken earth wire which fixed the problem other than a blown main beam.

Next thing the bl&@dy indicators ain't working again. I'm hoping now its the hazard switch that's faulty so got one on order.
Owning a defender is deffo a love hate thing.

it was used to bodge the rear lights but I can't figure out why as I wired them up correctly and everything works fine. Some people just don't have a scooby and should be kept away from everything vehicle related.
