Hi folks,

Hopefully a quick question, I'm fitting an EGR blanking kit to my 94 300tdi, and none of the forums or instruction seems to cover what I do with the brown multi point connector that fits on top of the valve.

If I blank the valve from the manifold do I just leave this disconnected and hanging, or would it be a problem if I left the valve in place but blanked the intake to it, hence leaving the wiring connector and vacumn in situ.

Some of the pictures I've seen don't even seem to show any type of wiring connector, but I have one!

Urgent advice if possible please, thanks

My egr is totally off, the connector is just stuffed down by the ABS unit and the vacuum pipe is blocked off.

Seems happy like that.

Thanks Dave, I'll give that a go for now, I'm the doing head gasket so prefer to cut out too many variables in case she won't start
