Driving all day then park outside for an hour. Go to drive to town - nothing. All the lights are on but turn the key nothing not a peep - other than the usual EAS noise. Any ideas??

No its not that mate any other suggestions
jump from another car??? make sure you put neg to car body/alternator brack or such like will do but NOT to battery.
does the car say engine disabled on the little msg centre on the dash?
also if it has 2 little connectors on the air intake manifold front between the heads and offset to the right, check they are plugged properly!

Don't think it is battery everything works lights etc and they do not dim when i turn the key. No message. Checked all connections around air intake - nothing obvious. is there a relay or fuse serving the starter motor i wonder?? It does not turn - nothing.Thanks for your time Gav

Can't hear one other than the click you get from the foot brake!!
try putting a jump lead from battery neg to alternator bracket, i had issues with my earths and got lazy charging and lazy starting!!
only other thing to do is test power to starter see if it starts if you spin starter up by jump lead on it and to battery!!
you should be able to swap relays over with another similar one in fuse box to test relay!
