Hi All,

Does the helicopter light (check engine) come on when the ECU holds a fault code?

Or does it depend up on the fault as to weather the check light comes on.

Depends on the fault and if its intermittent or permanent.

e.g. I read my faults the other week and it had a intermittent CAN bus error, but no dash lights were lit.

thanks for that, was just check before I get it read in the morning, the light is not on, so didn't want to be wasting 40 quid

have you tried the landyzone rescue section of the site?
you might find someone close by with a fault reader that would do it for a beer

I've got a fault code reader and could connect and read and check fault code for you for a lot less than £40 if your close to West Midlands
