It's pad change time again and I was looking at EBC Green Stuffs and the Mintex M171's I'm more familar with from my road cars. I know there are a few posts mentioning fitting the EBC's, but I can't see any opinions of them in action. So at the risk of asking for more than I bargained for, are they worth it?
I've pretty much ruled out the 171's on the basis that being a fast road pad they need a fair bit of heat to get them going which might happen on the motorway, but not in a mud pit or wading.

I'd three and half that. Defo better than OE, really come into their own when pushing hard, but with petrol nearly a fiver a gallon, spirited driving is becomming a rarity these days. Under normal driving not as much improvement as I was expecting.
Another added advantage of green stuff is far less brake dust on your alloys.

The 6000 series pads are designed for 4wd and SUV's and are supposed to be more resiliant to brake fade on long braking runs.

I used the Green Stuff when I changed my pads and had no appreciable improvement.

Having said that, the ones removed were so worn I couldnt tell what they were!!!
