Guys
My EAS whistles everytime the system vents air. Everytime I stop my arrival is announced by a couple of peep peeps. It like driving Thomas the bleedin' Tank.
I changed the exhaust silencer but this made no difference. Removing the silencer altogether just changes the frequency. My guess is that there is possible some of the drying agent pellets lodged somewhere in the system. Would a valve block refurb kit do the trick or do I need to look somewhere else?

Thanks

No harm in doing a valve block overhaul. Not heard of this problem before though. There is a small diameter pipe that goes a short way into the sleeve with the pipes to the airbags, this pipe also exhausts air, could be that?
If you find deposits in the valve block, don't forget to renew the air dryer.

Small pipe 4mm exhausts air used to hold diaphragm shut into the harness. The air coming from the exhaust filter is from the inlet/outlet gallery. Not the same air. Maybe the small pipe has a slight blockage and that could cause your whistle. Try disconnecting it at block and see if that cures your whistle. At least you will know what it is if it does. But there really is not that much of it to exhaust.

Thanks for the info. Will try this on Wednesday when I get my hands on some daylight. Will do the o ring refurb thing as well.
