Hi all from Nairobi. My 2000 P38 has coil springs fitted by the previous owner. The airbags were removed Ann most of the pipes cut out but the compressor, valve blocks and height sensors remain. There are no warning lights, just 'eas manual'. I want to remove the remaining items to use in another project vehicle, with new airbags. My question is: can I also remove the ecu and if I do will I need to bypass anything?
All the electrics appear to have been disconnected, there are no dash/switch lights.

I think the ecu needs to stay as it talks to the main BECM.
