As title noticed some odd behaviour with the eas today, to go with the self rising rear suspension. Whilst waiting for the wife with the engine running the front suspension was doing what can best be described as a little dance! Raising up a bit then dropping at around the same frequency that the rear rises and falls whilst driving.

Think the cure was in the connections but in the back of my mind is valve body issues. Have done the leak tests and that all seems fine but the suspension does sink within a couple of days but pumps up quickly.

Tried a search but couldn't find the post as I said I'm sure it was very recent.

You an try parting and cleaning the connectors in the EAS box, use contact cleaner, NOT WD40, check the earth points for the EAs on the wing between the EAS box and the air filter.
Also worth checking the calibration of the heights.
To check for leaks, pull the timer relay under the passenger seat and see if it still goes down, could be a dodgy height sensor if it doesn't.
Given the back rises, it could be the driver pack.

Take a look at the white blocks behind the passenger side kick panel, there are 2 have a look at the bigger of the 2 they are prone to damp and corrosion. I had the front end dance which turned out to be the fronts out of calibration but could also be leaking nrv valves in the valve block. I also had the rear going up and down whilst driving, swapped out driver pack and now all good. Think these could be causing your issues but I'm sure Datatek or Wammers will put me right.

The white connectors are a good point to add as the dash height control goes through them I believe.

They do dance a wee bit until storage tank is full and system fully pressurised.
As you may have a leak or other fault causing system to loose air you will experience the dance more.
Make sure calibration of height sensors are spot on (front most critical)
+ all the other possibilities mentioned

Found some green corrosion in the bigger of the two white multiplugs and the earth didn't look too bad but cleaned it anyway. Checked all connections in eas box. Haven't driven it yet but seems quicker to respond to changes.

Have pulled eas relay from under the seat to see if that affects it sinking overnight. Could anyone confirm what is broken if it doesn't sink?

Ah a search has revealed that if it sinks I have a leak if it doesn't it's a valve block fault. Reading up it appears that could also be my front end dance issue if the one of the nrvs is leaking. Time will tell!

Disconnected eas relay and only the rear has sunk so guess that means I have a leak in the rear circuit. If this was an internal valve body leak could this cause my random rising of the rear suspension?

If the rear has sunk, check for leaks in the airbags and the pipework, even a small blow in the exhaust can melt the pipes.
If the airbags are original, they are almost certainly to blame as they have a design life of 7/8 years 80K miles.
Sort that first then worry about any remaining problems.
