Hi,

I’ve just had to drive a Couple of hundred metres to get to a safe spot after a puncture which is annoying and was a bit ‘juddery’. Now safe and trying to jack the beast up to fit the spare I’ve come up against two issues:
The scissor jack is utterly blooming useless and I’ve an EAS Inactive message which has appeared in the Info screen.

If I’m hopeful that no actual damage to sensors has been caused, is there an easy reset ? -unfortunately I don’t have any diagnostics for the L332 as my P38 Nanocom
Doesn’t work with it.

Is there a cheap / useful diagnostic device which would get me out of jail that anyone would recommend ? Or isn’t best just to fork out for an IID or similar ?

Thanks for your help

Bad luck you can get an eas kicker for the L322 similar to the p38 type. It's a must have if it's gone into hard fault you won't get it up and running again without.

Is that the RSW (RWS ?) beastie ?

Happily I managed to persuade the helpful AA guy to scan for faults and clear them and it’s all good now (for now !)

🤞🏻

Depending what year your l322 is bmw Inpa software works on most modules and is a free download but you have to get the cable there are company's that do the cable and software with backup for about £80.

It’s a 2003 -so it’s basically an X5 -I’m not even sure how much Gap IID can do with it -it seems limited to reading EAS data but not being able to control it according to their product matrix

-Although I’m sure someone on here will know :)
