With the D2 headlamps there's more to it than just the black edge.
The lamp is still the same glass unit of the D1 but now with the black edge band and on the rear of the band it's chrome, and therefore the theory is that any stray light from the edges of the lamp are redirected into the lamp giving a increase of light.

just had a quick look and:
Land rover td5 face lift head lights grab a bargain | eBay
Not for me obviously and maybe legit but the cheap price and the relatively new join date got me suspicious, oh and the ZERO feedback of course.
Having a quick scan they seem to be in the region of between £60-£80 which is more than I thought tbh Disco 1 post facelift are about £40-£50 a pair by the look of things.
