After buying the 90 a few weeks back I took the front prop off to change the universal joints (bad vibes) when the universal joints I ordered were to small a search revealed my 90 has a pre 86 front prop on it with the 82mm UJ's but I can't find specific info on which props will fit.

I don't like the thought of an older part on there so I'm gonna get a replacement front prop of the correct vintage unless there is a better alternative?

Do any newer / disco etc props offer any advantage?

only def prop will fit,rtc3346 larger joint on your shaft i would have thought better than smaller rtc3458,early propyou seem to have is frc5566 and later upto 300tdi frc8390

I guess bigger is better? I could swap the UJ's I bought for the larger ones
