Hi all

Cheers

I made it all up. Can u help him with a "key-type through the front grill surround"? bonnet lock? My infra-sonic offer still stands tho..............

Early ones (pre 1986) had a key operated lock on the front, with a lever reach through the grill to open the bonnet. (The catch held it down, the key made it secure)

When they put push button doors on, they also fitted an internal bonnet release.

Which is why the internal releases always look like an afterthought, and aint designed into the dash :D

Aaahh - Ta for that Boydy - gonna stick with my infra sonic one for now - sorry for taking the uknowwot Dez - I stand corrected. But still cant answer ur question unfortunately

Screwfix, a locksmiths or LR Series. It's only a cabinet lock

you can see the lock (just, to the left of the badge) and the lever in this pic

Cos they were a carry over from the series 3's and they only fitted em to the early 110's
