Hi

I have just bought a freelander which needs a few jobs doing. It is a 1998 petrol. As soon as it is moving, even at very low speeds there is a very loud transmission noise. It is very slightly changed when braking and not by cornering. It appears to come from the NSF but I haven't travelled in the passage seat to compare. Any ideas?

Could try taking off the props and vcu to see if the noise goes away, or changes. What does it sound like?
