Got mine at 117k, the VCU was a bit tight but so far the IRD seems ok. I've put five new tyres on it and I'll be putting a new VCU on it as soon as payday comes around. I guess I got lucky .
Ha, I'm contemplating putting mine back on, which seems to wind up on reverse lock, just to see us more safely through this stint of bad weather, which I hasten to add is set to get a lot worse I heard.
Everything (other than going mondo) in/on the car is currently working as it should (touch wood), and I'm trying to fathom a percentage of risk, of damaging the drivetrain by refitting, versus the safety factor of driving mondo, in the snow with my children present.
It's a geet big white jungle out there, and its full of pancake chuckers.
my vcu made my auto box go bump, got the box fixed put a new vcu on on from freelander spares which went bump and they replaced it but i parted with my old freelander for another, one 2006 td4 auto hse so looking forward to the snow this friday
