as above will the front drive shafts from a 2001 td4 fit a 1999 1.8 petrol?? before i start to remove them

Does the 1.8 have antilock brakes?

not all of the old ones did. if it has HDC then it'll have ABS, also look under the bonnet for the ABS module.

yes it has hdc/abs etc they both do,i was just wondering if anyone new for sure about the length and if splines were the same but will try and measure them tomorrow
