Reset the trip mileage on the L322 - now the bottom display won't show range, mpg etc. The display is working as it shows other fault messages (ie tailgate open) but just shows two triangles either side. The info will cycle through using the dash button but not the stalk but still just displays blank for mpg/range etc.

The MPG/range etc is still calculating as it can been seen on the radio/sat nav display.

Any ideas?

If there are two triangles one the sides, this indicates a more urgent message is taking precedence over the OBD calcs....

What message is coming up when the right hand binnacle button is pushed?

Check Number plate light and check brake pads (dogs pulled sensor off chasing a rat) - I wonder if that's it?

Display warning messages are given different priorities depending on what they are....

I.e. mine tells me my washer fluid is low, but I can still bring up the OBD display.....it could be that the Brake Pad Warning is considered a high priority message and as such overrides you using the OBD....

Or, it could just be the stalk button is U/S

Had the pad sensor changed and the triangles have gone. Still no display, but the display itself works on test and the range flashes up then disappears after startup.

Trust you are pressing the left hand stalk button to cycle the OBC information?

Yes but it's no doing anything. Wonder if that's the prob

Not teaching you to suck eggs but have you enabled those options via the road screen on the touch screen? as in you have to goto the trip menu and say i want mpg1, distance etc etc.

Been overhauling the L322 and this is back on the agenda.

The stalk button doesn't do anything. Its a 2003 so not a touch screen radio but all the info is there in the stereo MPG and so on. Is there an option in here to control what shows in the drivers information console by the speedo?

Still blank but MPH flashes up, along with any other messages.

So - it shows range on startup and any warning messages,like door open and so on.

Stalk does nothing. Screen just blank and if lights are on it actually turns off the back light.

My LR shop recons it the whole unit - but why will it display on start plus if u can a CD track it show up. I'm wonder if its 'off' since the stalk button is u/s
