Has anyone ever re skinned doors and rear tub sides on a defender 90? My doors are sound but bent and my back wings a like a golf ball. How do you replace the spot welds on the tub sides? will pop rivets do the job or is there a better way?

I've seen it done with pop rivets by a professional bodyshop and it looks fine, they even put rivets in the other side too to match, and then resprayed the whole lot.

Not sure about the doors, but I bet people on here have done it.

That annoying bloke on the telly pop riveted his tub when he built his 100" hybrid.
Program was called "a 4x4 is born" or something like that.
