I think I'd just whip the door card off and have a look. Doesn't take long. The instructions are in RAVE. Might be one of the plastic clips is half out or something.
Be REALLY careful pulling the trim clips out around the edge of the door. If you're not careful the mushrooms snap and you cannot get replacements so you're in a world of pain. Make sure the 2 screws in the door handle are definitely out first.

As above, plus get a door card removal tool to minimise the risk of snapping the fixings. You can get replacement fixings, I found some pattern ones on Ebay a couple of years ago.
