I have been sitting outside in my p83 with all the windows open shorts and vest on (not a pretty site ) playing with my Nanacom just working out what it does. I bought it off of a guy on here but have not had the time to find out what it can do ,but the plug keeps falling out of the socket is this a common fault does anyone know of a way of preventing this from happing ,new plug or perhaps a lump of wood wedged under it ?.

Mine is the same, it hasn't dropped out yet but I am terrified it will while engine is running

Cable tie mabe round back of the obd port another on the cable link together cut when done . :D

There should be a metal tension clip somewhere in there to hold it in position.

Replace the socket. Sounds like the contacts are loose. My Nanocom cable stays put until I disconnect it.

Thanks for the suggestions I will take the socket out and have a closer look and perhaps change it for a new one .

I have just been trying to email blackbox and you need to enter the kit you are enquiring about. Says the nanocom evolution doesnt exist? Anyone had this problem?
