hi using belts as check straps on a 2a does any one know the correct lengths for these?
Also i think one might be longer than the other so is left or right side the short one.
Any help would be great cheers oli

Depends on the axle, depends on the wheelbase. I think Craddocks sell them, try their website or ring up and tell them what vehicle it is for.

I was thinking about refitting these to mine. Are they necessary? I mean can damage be done without them?
I understand if replacing them for authenticity.

In theory they stop over-extension of the shock absorbers, and presumably act in a similar (if much less progressive) manner to anti-roll bars. They were fitted for a reason but are often overlooked.

under normal use you dont need them ,they do help protect shocker ,but theres a lolt of series running well with out them out there
