Hi All,

I'm looking to drop a fairly small electric winch I have, in behind the front bumper on my P38. Has anyone done similar and if so are there any off the shelf mounting brackets that are 'cheap' (ish)/ not too heavy before I look a either making one or having one made? It's not for heavy loads - 6000lb max winch and looking to be able to move rolling trailers up to perhaps 1500kg on a slight gradient (1:15'ish) that I currently shove around by hand with the aid of chocs, bricks and effort alone! I wondered (don't laugh!) about a hinged reg plate holder and hide the fairlead behind the plate... :D As a 'plan B' does anyone know if there's any attachment available for the towing eye other than a hook/strap? I don't need to leave it connected, although would obviously be easier... Space is too tight for hitching up and trailers are also often 'nose' in - pull is usually up the driveway so basically using P38 as an anchor point.

Thanks.

There's a place in France. There was a link on here a while back. Fits under the bumper. Only hassle I might see is it might obstruct the cooling on the intercooler if you've got the diesel. I'll try and dig out the link ...

Awesome thanks. I will a have a browse through that over the weekend - the tray kit from RR Evolution looks ideal! I couldn't play the first link in the other thread, but had already found the site from 996Turbo's page.

I've a fairly cheap/low powered winch, but although that's a bit overkill I can always upgrade the pulling power later... :D
