Hi there, I'm assuming you have a correctly identified oil leak at the rear of the engine and not an FPR leak?
Assuming you are right, are you sure it's the 2" round camshaft seal and not the half-moon shaped part of the rocker cover seal, as these can be real bastards to get right?
To remove and replace the rear camshaft seal you will need to remove the engine cover, remove the separate smaller sound damping piece on the end of the block between it and the bulkhead, then access the seal with a flat bladed screwdriver.
When installing the new one, put a little Vaseline on the rubber seal. It'll help to ease it in. (waits for comments...................................)

Just getting the rear engine cover off is hardest bit its a real fiddle, if like me ya got big hands, you can just pop it off it's grommets then once you got it out you have more room to undo bolts, of witch there are two, after that it's easy to pop out seal and push new one in , I never refitted the rear cover ,as without it on you can keep a better eye on the back of the engine for leaks that my develop at a later date , you get a good view up from under with a touch

New seal in shed, old rag stuffed down back of engine and being replaced every week to prevent oil slick on drive, can't be bothered doing it in the cold.

My kinda mechanic :bounce:
If anybody is still watching this tread (must be bored) how on earth do you get a scredriver down the back? I have even taken the rocker cover off to try and gain a bit more access but still can't find anything to get any purchase on, let alone hold the scredriver in place.
